Check out my band, Methonia, which plays progressive metal (as the title says).
The style is hard to define but we like to incorporate technical aspects as well as brutality and melodic elements into our music. At the moment we are shifting towards a more brutal style with more screams and growls and heavier riffing while still retaining the progressive elements and clean vocal melodies as well.
