Michael Pinnella, keyboardist and one of the principal songwriters in SYMPHONY X, has released his first solo album, entitled Enter By The Twelfth Gate. A very classically inspired instrumental album, Pinnellas love of Mozart, DEEP PURPLE and of course, Malmsteens RISING FORCE really shines through. I dont have a whole lot of information about this album, not quite sure who the other musicians are.
Perhaps we can get some one from InsideOut or Mr. Pinnella himself to drop in and tell us more. This is definitely recommended for fans of the artist, the above mentioned and any other classical composer. If you have kids, like I do, its great to get their growing minds going. It has a soundtrack vibe to it, one that should, in a just world, see Mr. Pinnella getting paid royally by Disney to make bombastic film scores.
