Symphony X guitarist Michael Romeo is FUCKING AWESOME!!!

I just seen them on the Blind Guardian tour and was blown away. I have not heard Symphony X all too much before this live show, but I am now looking for their stuff.

I hadn't heard much Symphony X before I saw them with Blind Guardian, and after seeing them, I don't want to hear anymore. I didn't like them. Romeo was good and all, but I just thought they were boring.

Actually yes, he kinda does, but he looks like he's put on about 100lbs since then.

I love Symphony X, I think the Odyssey is awsome. Its the best cd to come out in 2002.

Pictures of guitar shredders posing like magazine models with their guitars should be banned, and made illegal. Especially, those dumb "dramatic" ones, where it looks they are wearing makeup. Ugh *shakes head* those should have died with the 80s.

Oh yeh, I sorta like MJR and Symphony X. I'm not the fan I once was, buy they are cool. I did't want to give the odyssey a chance, because frankly I have gorwn out of that style of music, but I must say, it was a pretty good album.

Michael Romeo is the best guitarist, period! He is pretty fucking far from being boring. Nobody riffs like he does, his solos are incredible, and his music is fantastic. Yngwie Malmsteen totally sucks next to him.

ok. first of all..... I am one hell of a Romeo fan.. And that goes for SyX as well....

I get kinda pissed when I see people commenting on looks, weight all that sort of stuff.. Does it make him a bad person? Less a human being? Or a less good guitarist? HELL NO. It's just because y'all don't have anything bad to say about his style, so you comment on his looks instead.

The man rules.. and his ego isn't the size of a tennis court, like some other guitarists.. And he has fan spirit.. Same goes for the rest of the SyX guys.

He's one of the best shreders of the 90's ... amazing technique ... and pulls off every note so dham clean at an incredible speed ... and his tap stuff its amazing ... but ... like any other shredder they tend to get booring ... and he blows ygwie easily

Yeah. I know that guy. He's a great guitarist. His guitar playing style is very recognizeable now for me like James Murphy or YJM.
