Ok, so this may only appeal to Pat and myself, but MSG are returning, to the HOB on Tuesday October 30.

This is really becoming a classic rock fall, between RUSH, MSG, UFO, and URIAH HEEP all coming within 2 months of each other.

Any fan of UFO, SCORPS, or MSG should check this out.
His show earlier in the year at Austin's was amazing.

I don't know much about him, but I listened to some vids with him fronting MSG; honestly, I think I'm going to pass on this show now as he doesn't sound very good.

I just read that too.
VERY VERY glad I went to the Austin's show now, as Robin is definitely my fav vocalist for MSG.
This news puts this show further down the priority list, esp now that UFO and URIAH HEEP both have shows around this time.
Also a few others.............
This will definitely be a last minute decision for me.

Supposedly this new guy had a short stint in Crimson Glory.

Man, I haven't listened to Rebel Radio, or even thought about them, in years. I think the last few times I checked them out they were playing nothing but metalcore and other Roadrunner bands. "Sure as hell not corporate radio?" Yeah right. I'd rather listen to the Rebel Radio from the movie Airheads.

On the other hand, Rebel Radio was the place where I first heard Gamma Ray and Helloween, back in 1998, so I'll always be grateful to them for that.

I have heard everything from Priest, Sabbath, and Maiden, to Metal Church, Sacred Reich, and Savatage, to Manowar, and a handful of stuff like Machine Head, Shadows Fall, etc.

Anyhow I have recommended to Bob that the guys get Rebel Radio as a sponsor.
He is on every day, and has thousands of listeners, believe it or not.

He could also give away tickets, and he promotes his giveaways on Facebook.

I know Mike tried last year. I dont think they ever got back to him about it. Must be so busy with so many listeners.

for the Exit Lounge type of crowd yeah. But for true metal you never see him at shows or supporting it.

He has a radio show.
He can give away tickets, play tunes from the bands playing the fest, announce it like he does all other Rebel Radio sponsored shows from the stage at other shows, etc....

Sorry, but this is one topic I am not budging on.

Promotion is SEVERELY lacking for this fest.

The fest can't afford ignoring any successful promotion campaign.
You have to put your personal bias aside sometimes, if you want growth.

Mike (odin) spent thousands on that sky writer but he paid for it and it was a rainy day and all he got was an Ra.......M.Y....Moj....

then he got a half priced one because of it and was going to have it over the city but he forgot it was the anniversary of 9-11. That plane was nearly shot down.
