Anyone heard the new album yet? Came out Tuesday. It sounds somewhat like the last couple YOB albums, but there are some differences too. It's faster in place and a little less doomy. It sort of parallels the change Matt Pike went through from Sleep to HoF, except not that dramatic. Good shit.

Crushing! It's like a more direct YOB. Imagine all the direct YOB songs. I woulndt say its less "doomy" at all...less spacey/psych rather.

Well, I think it's more uptempo and rocking. It's less spacey but still has a cosmic quality.

Edit: Out of curiosity, would you agree w/ the Sleep to HoF comparison?
