Svartvinbärsbrännvin, sounds very nice.
never tried it, but bought it for this reason: sounds very nice

also as a swedish-type person i suppose i have to be ashamed of this but i really don't like any traditional AKVAVIT, so this was the best alternative i found in those shelves

Postiljon is good. I sampled a few beers from Jämtlands Bryggeriet and I remember that being particularly nice. You're clearly missing the surströmming though. And you call yourself a norrlänning!

surströmming is not a midsummer thing, but i don't eat that shit either way so

jämtlands is one of our best breweries and postiljon is arguably their best, so yeah, yep, yeppers.

it's more of a late summer thing. you're right that i do not eat it though, nothing that smells that bad can be healthy (and actually the european union is trying to ban it due to health concerns, fuck them. our traditions and cultural heritage might be partly disgusting, but they are ours and we're keeping them) and most people i talk to say it mostly just tastes like salt anyway
