May have problems. Downgrading to IE7 may solve it, though.
I did a fresh install of windows 7 this weekend and all of my DAW software and plugs, drivers, etc. worked fine, but when Nuendo scanned for VST's, I got an error saying no Waves plugins were found in the Waveshell. After doing some research, looks like Waves recognized this as a problem with IE8, and it looks to be affecting a lot of recording programs, not just Nuendo (i've read PT, Sonar as well as Cubase obviously).
