Miking wind instruments?

I want to have a crack at miking my didgeridoo, maybe make some samples or whatever, anybody got any tips on the best way to go about it?

I'll be using my Superlux CM-H8a

put it to the sound hole and move it around til it sounds good to you
use your ears man, engineers are supposed to engineer a sound
if the concept of micing something on gut instinct is alien to you, you need to get into practice nigga

also wanna do a didgeridoo drone for me?

when i was taking recording classes, our teacher told us the didge is the hardest thing he's ever had to mic...that and an ensemble of 30+ accordian players
