Million Dollar Heavy Metal Guitar Contest

Gosh, that's such a handsome fellow. I bet he gets all the chicks. He looks like he's got millions of dollars to give away too, just like he says. A young, successful businessman. He's just so charming. And incredibly humorous. What more could someone ask for?

Oh man you have the Korg X50. I'm having one next to me right now and that thing is a bitch! It's supposedly easy to use but I can't even figure out how to change a sound to a certain other sound by pressing just one button, so there would be any use for it live (or generally playing songs with other people)... It has the worst manual I've ever seen!!!

Actually, I tried to update its firmware the other day, and my computer prompts me to set it to "update mode"... Now what the hell is that?? I searched the PDF manual and there is no such thing as "update mode" in the whole manual...!

I'm sure it's easy to use once you get the hang of it, but I think it's the most confusing thing ever. Besides, why are they marketing it to be an ultra-portable synth for live use?? The plastic is cheaper than the plastic on my CME M-Key that cost me 70 bucks! This thing costs over 600 for fucks sake...

It isn't my synth for the record, it's my band's synthist's, but neither of us have been able to figure that thing out...

Yeah, I checked the traffic on a vid and saw something was coming from here at UM. I figgered it was the Sneap forum.

The X50 is basically a studio synth. It's difficult to change sounds on the fly. I've got a Korg M3 which is a much, much better synth but I keep the X50 around just in case. You can see some of it in my later vids. If it's giving you that much trouble, go for a cheap M3. You'll never regret it!

Right, thanks man. It's kind of stupid because there isn't really a sound in the X50 I couldn't get out of my plugins  anyway, the battle continues.
