Mistral isn't a new band, but it's most likely new to many of you.
It's been around in some form since 2001, mostly as a sparetime project, but things are heating up again and a whopping FOUR releases are planned for some time in the near future. This is because Mistral is a very diverse project with influences in thrash, melodic death metal, black metal, gothic rock, etc.. and I had to find a way to organize the different styles of music I wanted to play. This project is mostly just myself but I work from time to time with different guest musicians. For a (slightly more than a) taste of my music you can download a torrent containing 9 high quality MP3 tracks.
http://www.mininova.org/tor/447326
or you can check out a few of the songs at http://www.myspace.com/mistralmetal
But I should say that just listening to one song will not give you anywhere near a full picture of the music I play. Please, listen to a few songs, ideally download the whole torrent, and come to your own conclusions then. It's free, so what have you got to lose right?
Thanks!
