This is my second try at mixing this song (great song!). I'm beginning to understand what people mean by a .5 db change can make a big difference. But I'm nowhere near where I need to be as far as skills go.
I'm getting ready to record my band and I've been practicing on the Veins track. Please give me some insight and brutal honesty as I know you will. I'm not pretending to be as good as you guys so I need your input if you will.
this is my second try at this song:

is it any better than my fisrt try?

What I might need to do to make more progress?

Well you need to keep practicing, and usually begginers overdo everything so cut you procesing in half and see if that works objectivly haha , check out also some books that might help you with acoustics, mixing, mastering etc. pick only one though, the more you limit your resources the better you can absorb em, there are many things about producing that you will need to dwell on but Keep it up kid you'll get there... Actually no'ones really ''there'' exept a handfull of people so don't worry ;)
