I can't find anything on the internet but I'm sure someone has done it.
I have an Extreme 7 and I'd like to mod it for a trem, but wanna make sure I can and that there's no reason for not doing it (like the screw holes of the TOM compromising the installation in some way or something).

Anybody did that ?

Guitars with tom bridges have an angled neck which I believe will make it impossible to install a tremolo bridge.

7 string version on the horizon

Well I think this is what it's gonna be !!! Thank you so much for pointing that

when you do this...please review it! i'm interested in how good it is compared to the standard floyd. i could see me buying TOM bridge guitars again and when i need a floyd for a record just putting that thing on it.

Worth less but I put a SD Jazz and Distortion in it and Sperzel Trimlok so hopefully, he'll trade it with maybe a little extra cash. But yeah, I'm intrigued by that Floyd Rose for TOMs... Will review if try.

Yup just saw that in the video below. However, I wonder if I can install those missing screws or if the 6 string holes are gonna get in the way.

I just noticed the guitar in question and I've got to go with the guys recommending a new guitar. It just seems crazy to me to put a $300 bridge on a $400 guitar b/c you did a $140 pickup swap.

I just sold it, with my Roland Cube 40XL, Boss tuner Tu-12EX, Radial DI Pro48, monitor stands and good cables.

I'm getting an LTD H-1007 with the Floyd. It doesn't have SD pick-ups but no dig deal, easy sale easy swap.
