Yeahhh. Well, that ***ing EP2. Anyone used them ?
I really love my guitar, the neck is perfect to my liking (Wizard II) (never tried the Wizards I). But what suck are the pick-ups and the trem.

The douchebag don't even have a screw to hold the trem bar. So I'm just wondering if anybody replaced it with the pretty cool LoProEdge or simply a real FloydRose.

Will put an x2n in there and probably another dimarzio at the neck.. and have a fake pekup in the middle (unplugged).

You can't drop a floyd into those without routing them. You can however put an original Edge trem into it with no mods. The Edge II is a cheaper version of the original Edge trem. They phased them in in the early 90's on alot of Korean models. You could probably get one from Ibanez Rules or maybe ebay or even craigslist.

I've done some looking myself since I have an Ibanez S series with a shitty TRS trem in it but fortunately I am able to replace it with a OFR with no mods. The Edge is a good trem, the best Ibanez made trem imo.

lol that's almost the price of the guit.. but yeah I could add +400$ to it's value after. So you are totally sure it's the same spacing so I would have to do anything except change the 2 big screws ? :)

I bought my S used for 250$ and put about 300 bucks worth of pickups into it, hah. After adding a OFR I'll have put twice as much $ into the hardware as the guitar itself.

this site may help you further:

And there's also:

If anything make an account there and ask, these are Ibby fanatics and you'll get a definitive answer there.

EDIT: Got curious and did some searching, yeah you can drop a floyd rose into the Edge Pro II route cavity.

So do the opposite of what I stated earlier.
