Deleting the "Evergrey hates Dark Tranquillity"-thread was a little bit more than weird.

I'm going to assume that Deron probably deleted it in response to a complaint. I will generally only delete threads if it's obviously a troll, or when the original poster asks me to.

I deleted it because anyone can post something like that but I have no idea if it is truth or not, so would not be fair to leave it if it were simlpy made up. Something similar happened not long ago and apparently it was just plain false / taken out of context. So, I played it safe

Hi Guys

Just to clear shit up .

We are a band with great liking of ironi and sarcasm and therefor some things we say are getting out of hands, I guess this is the down side of getting more popular.
However we never hate anyone since we dont have the energy or time to spend it on people we might not like .

But mostly as I said it is something that people have heard from someone and told someone and then the truth got lost on the way and also out of porportion.

I would still like to have read what Strahd posted.

I apparently don't have access to threads I didn't delete myself (I can't even see the troll threads that were deleted), so Deron will have to pull it the next time he checks in here.

Of course the point I was trying to make didn't have anything to do with Tom and Dark Tranquillity. I just think it's lame going around deleting or closing every "hostile" "attack."

I like Tom's view on hate. I mostly share that myself...of course sometimes it's just a matter of wording, but there's a lot of hate around.

Hey Tom, will you let me spell check the lyrics for your next album? I'm beginning to see a pattern of Swedish bands abusing one same grammar rule.

TFH: to be fair, I think deleting Strahd's thread was just an error, because we have had a few problems with people making misleading and inflammatory posts. I'm not going to touch any discussion of opinions, but unnecessary personal attacks or deliberately vulgar posts such as we've had against Jonas, Tom, and Carina will be zapped.

If any of you feel your thread has been deleted unfairly, please contact us. We're not trying to be mean; we're just trying to keep the trolls from causing trouble, and mistakes happen.

I think I already gave it a permanent deletion. And what Jaime said, I have hardly deleted anything from here, save the personal attack posts by some lamers, but that's pretty much it.
