what do you think about this genre? that is many great bands that play an unbealiveable sound that influence many bands around the world...

my favorites:

Porcupine Tree
Presto Ballet (guitar player from metal church plays on)
Riverside
Transatlantic
Karmakanic
Blackfield

Porcupine Tree is one of my favorite bands (you know that Grinder).
I also love Riverside and Blackfield which is Steven Wilson's side project. A great genre that takes a little bit of getting used to but is very rewarding in long run.

I thought Porcupine Tree wasn't really considered prog rock? Steven Wilson says himself that he considers PT to be "just a rock band".
