Molder's EP "An Act of Revenge" is the kind of death metal that will have horror fans grinning. Its title song is based on the eternally controversial flick I Spit On Your Grave (a.k.a. Day of the Woman), and another track, "God's Critters," shouts out the similarly grimy cult classic Motel Hell. The remaining three songs here may hold better-hidden references, but fundamentally this is diseased, riff-obsessed death metal that immediately invokes similarly horror-fixated classics of the genre - early Autopsy, and the earliest death/thrash outings of Cannibal Corpse.

Released originally on tape only, now this EP has been remastered for an exclusive CD and digital release, with its splattery cover art intact. The CD is up for preorder here: http://www.unspeakableaxerecords.co...in_page=product_info&cPath=66&products_id=446 Orders begin shipping in the back half of July.
