Mortanius - Til Death Do Us Part (Neo Classical Power Metal)

Really liking this new release from Pennsylvania's Mortanius. It reminds me of a bit of Opus Atlantica on Facing the Truth. The EP features Leo Figaro from Dragon Guardian on Facing The Truth and Jonas Heidgert from Dragonland on Jaded. Pretty good stuff. Glad to see some metal like this from the US.

Good call-out on Opus Atlantica! Don't think I've ever heard anyone else mention them before, but what a great band..... The vocals on this are not entirely hitting for me. Will have to check it out further before writing it off.

FYI - Their 2016 EP is on Amazon for $6, and they will be stocking this new one also.....

I loved the disc from Opus Atlantica...it was such a great CD. Disappointing the band never did a follow up. You look at the line up and it's like every member of the band were in multiple ProgPower bands that were great.

I think this CD is now available thru Bandcamp for a more respectable $13.50....much cheaper than thru the Italian Record label.
