Motley and Purple at LIVE 8 Canada Site

Local radio here in southern Maine,U.S.A. reports that Motley Crue and Deep Purple are on the bill at Canada site of Live 8 extravaganza.Both bands requested to be on bill of U.K. concert,but were denied because of scheduling and number of acts already confirmed.

I also heard that Tom Green and Dan Akroyd are hosting??!!???

Anyone know about Television broadcasting of any of this concert weekend/extravaganza/whatever you call it?

I doubt it's that big of a deal that, any station outside of Canada would care...
