MotW, the girls loved your songs, but hated the growls!

yeah....i was coming back from university and MotW was in endless rotation in my car's stereo...everthing was ok up to the moment where the growls came in "stones of october's sobbing".
needless to say that all the girls in the car hated, but one of them find the sound very cool and she never had listened to growls or this kind of music before ... .... .... ...
