Moving a guitar rig overseas

So, any suggestions for moving my guitar setup from Ireland to the UK? I'm thinking courier may be the only option and it'll be about 100£ for the head alone so I'm wondering if anyone had any other ideas. It's basically 2-3 guitars, JSX head and a Marshall 4x12. I was also thinking of selling the cab in Ireland and pick one up here, might be easier. Just said I'd throw the question at you as there might be a better shipping option without breaking the bank...

If you, or anyone you know can drive it may be worth loading up a car/van and doing a ferry road-trip.

when we moved from Limerick to Aberdeen last year my parents took over all of our stuff on the ferry and we made a nice weekend out of it.

Cheers man. Thats what I did the first time alright and it may be the best option. I was looking at prices last night ant it was about 168£ return for May so I think that may be the favourable option. I dont think any shipping would be less than that. It is one hell of a drive though....but then I will at least get all my stuff over
