Allright, I told you guys a while ago that I would record a cover for this board sometime. And well, now it's done. I did Brave New Hell. The ID3 tag says "Corpulent Moth", a rather obscure death metal band I'm in, but this song is all me, Guitars/Bass/Growls/Programmed drums. Enjoy!

Cool, I don't like your vocals though. Some of the cymbals seem too loud on the drums too. Nice job for doing it all yourself, be nice if I could play some instruments, but I'm lazy!

I loved it man, the recording quality is really good, it surprised me and the drums are dead on. I found your vocals to be quite good, anyway keep up the great work!

I didn't really like it. The vocals were weak, many parts were wrong and in a lot of places, you've just played the notes once rather than tremolo picking which I find it be lazy and boring-sounding.

Actually I take that part about the vocals back, mostly. I think they have great potential, but the production seems to think the vocals are bad (if you get what I'm saying). The production and vocalist need to be more assertive.

Not bad. The guitars and drums were great, but the growls need work. They're not bad growls, but they just don't fit the song.

I thought the same dude. It may be because peter did stunning work with the vocals so the comparison is kinda harsh. Good vocals, im sure they will work really well in origional material man.

I think some people on this board are being too hard, I mean I am a picky motherfucker about things but I think all things considered, ESPECIALLY since it was all done by 1 person, its not bad at all as far as homemade covers go ;-)

Well, I wasn't expecting such hard critics since I've seen other covers around here with the quallity of complete blowage. But nontheless, most of the critisism is true, especially the ones regarding vox, I am not a growler. I'll do another covertune later though, with the growler of my band. Hopefully blowing away even the most picky son of a bitch :p
