I think Soulseek will definitely satisfy you.. I don't think I'm retarded - but there was something about DC++ that I couldn't really figure out.. The downloads were slow, oft-queued forever, and the search option didn't work properly... Soulseek is much easier to use - and there's lots of shit there.. I suggest you check Soulseek out first before going into complicated stuff with DC.. I first had DC and couldn't do shit in it - then got Soulseek and found ALL the metal I ever wanted. It's not as good as Napster or Kazaa in a way that you can't download a lot of files at the same time - but it's the same with DC++, so I'm not complaining. Sometimes I wait an hour-two-three for some queues to open up - but it's good if you go to sleep and "order" a handful of full albums with fair quality and then get up the morning with all of them already downloaded... And there's some REALLY obscure shit in there, too..
