Okay I had to bring the wife's opinion in on this one, as she's definitely the bigger goth fan between the two of us. And y'all can call it "funeral doom" on Encyclopaedia Metallum all you want, but this is straight up goth. Metal? Where? Not that it matters, but I find that funny, especially since I know how picky Them Archives can be about who gets listed. Yet I digress as per usual...

So, I gave both these songs a chance, and then scoped out I, Rodent since that's a pretty awesome name. Put said rodent on big speakers, kinda figured this type of music should be heard large and loud. There is a definite mood here, I dig that. And the spaz out parts break up the monotony, which is cool. Still not quite feeling it, and I could safely pass this by after 30 minutes of trying, but she likes it, so I'm buying a copy anyhow! Thanks.
