Music and gaming memories

[Hammer of Might]

I don't play computer games really, so I couldn't say I associate songs with any, but i know what you mean - certain songs can bring back memories of certain events.

The tracks Powerslave and Rime of the Ancient Mariner on the end of the Powerslave Maiden album remind me of sitting my GCSE art exam painting my final piece, because we were allowed to listen to music and I repeat played those tracks quite a lot.

Well I was a big Liverpool fan at the time (my grandfather was from Liverpool and him and my uncle got me hooked - that and the European trophies!) and I fucking loved that song. John Barnes was good in it, but that was before he started all the wife beating carry on. I think the Stutter Rap was out around the same time. That was cool too.
I was about 9 at the time.
Clearly.
