Sooooooo...sup? Anyway, I was wondering, to any of you guys who edit/change music, what programs do you use. I use Audacity 2. I use it to change the pitch, volume, and clean up language from songs. (It is like a radio edit, but with the entire song still in there). What do you use?

I use Audacity (especially to changing speed and/or pitch) which is great when it doesn't crash (usually when I've done an hour or more of work without a save), and Garage Band and Sibelius 6 for more compositional work and midi files. I've used some other programs, but these are the ones that work for me.

Cubase is impressive, but very hard to master. I tried for weeks to use it, but gave up, and then another guy recorded me with it and amazed me with the possibilities!

I use Audacity for editing and making small tweaks. I use Fruity Loops for my electronica, piano, and drum machines. I use Ableton for fine tuning and making everything else.

I mostly just change the "end time" on the song from iTunes for the random silence stuff lol. AlexJacobii, do you use Fruity Loops to creat drum loops or just to edit them? does it have a drum machine in it? I have a bunch of drum loops i'm already using in my music, but I need something to creat double-bass with
