Before you do IT, you better be sure that there is something on the "other side".

It is like closing your eyes and entering a forking tunnel, one corridor leading to a chamber with a spiked pit and the other corridor leading to a chamber with something unknown inside - a very silly thing to do.

Just imagine how would it be if there was no afterlife, most people think that they would be just floating in silently peaceful blackness, but that is incorrect, because without a conscious observer, there would be no blackness and no silence, not even nothingness... and that is much more scary than any hell you can imagine.
