i recently tried to find some canadian folk metal bands... couldnt.. so i suppose there are no folk (not viking) metal bands here... tahts SO sad.

I wish I could help. Im Uk a neze. No one I know even wants to be in a band let alone a folk metal band. Folk Metal is easilly the best metal!!! New Elven King album rocks!!!!

i am in a band, but the guitarist doesnt get the whole folk metal stuff... as close as liking folk as she gets is moonspell. but me and the vocalist love folk.

She? Guitarist? Thats a nice touch. Too bad you cant work the folk metal thing aye. I'd be real interested in helping out, but unfortunatly I have no decernable talent in doing anything other than Burzum-esque style music. Also, I'm in Australia, so nah.
