Must be a good week... The Seven Samurai playing on the big screen!

I have The Seven Samurai on VHS, but I will DEFINITELY be seeing this in a Nashville mivie theatre tomorrow! I fell in love with this movie (and Akira Kurosawa's work) the first time I saw it, and have always made it a point to watch his stuff whenever possible since then!


Miscellaneous trivia (for those who don't know already): The Magnificent Seven (that American western flick with James Colburn) is based on The Seven Samurai!

Any other fans of this movie out there???

I saw a 16mm print of a shortened [but still nearly 3 hour] version of The Seven Samurai at one of my boss' screening parties. I must admit it's the only Kurosawa film I've seen so far.
