Can't say I worked for the guy directly, just through his management, but if it's Dave himself, this may just be revenge for Dave Jr. sueing him first. Rememeber, David Elefson sued Dave for the publishing right to Megadeth's entire catalouge and lost. This may be Dave getting back at him for that.

But even if it is because of that, this particular use, it's insane. David mentioned being in a band he was in for about half his life, and got busted because he didn't ask Dave first. This really is too far if you ask me.

It was in a paid advertisement, and Mustaine's prior settlement with Ellefson restricting him from using the name in ads because he'd be PAID.
