My attempt at recording a Kid´s Band (Cool shit inside)

Hey guys! FOA, what you are going to hear is an adolescents band, from 16 to 18 years old, so please have some mercy!!

Well, they´ve contacted me thru MSN as I´m something like an idol to them (in a metal production context) so they insisted in record a 3 songs EP, they have very poor gear, cheapy Ibanez Gio and BC Rich Warlok with stock pickups....
But the overall sound is simply unbelievable!!

Drums: Metal Foundry, snare and BD blended with Slate Samples.
Guitars: POD XT, a tone I made, dual tracked, some EQ, C4, aural exciter
Bass: Sansamp into POD XT with drive pot down
Vocals: SM7 into distressor

(Guitars, bass and vocals are Chandler Germanium pre into RME ADI thru ADAT into Saffire 56)

Sorry if it doesn´t fit to your tastes....that´s personal opinion as I´m not involved in the writing in any way...but when I was 16 I didn´t know how to play a guitar so...it´s not that bad...

Wow.. for that gear.. it sounds amazing!
overall also, its very very impressive man.. only thing is i guess the lows could come up abit more .. but then again that cud be a personal preference kinda thing...

Thanks buddy, it was the first time recording for the band, they were quite nervious, but I wish my first recording to sound like that!
