Today was the official release day of my band Horrendous' album The Chills. The whole album is currently streaming over on Brooklyn Vegan, so I figured I'd share the link. The music is death metal in the old school vein.

The album is on CD and a vinyl edition will come out in the spring. In case anyone wants to buy a copy after hearing it, just shoot an email to SubterraneanWatchtower@gmail.com

I'll answer any production questions as well!

Like the songs, but that page makes you look like a school band, and comments are retarded - why would you want to expose yourself to that?

A school band? I'm not sure what you mean exactly. We had nothing to do with organizing the stream - our label set it all up, and it's a simple way for me to show people our album and for lots of new listeners to discover the music. It's not a death metal blog or anything, so just ignore the comments that lack any form of substance.

Regardless, glad you guys are digging it

Terminus, guitar chain is Boss HM-2 > 5150 > Splawn 4x12 cab with Eminence Governor and Man-o-War speakers. Royer R-121 on one, SM 57 on another. Both about 4 inches from the grill cloth.
All passive pickups too. Used API (on SM57 iirc) and Neve (on Royer) liquid pres on my Focusrite Liquid Saffire 56.
