My best pod + impulse tone. Or not?

It's a random riffs sample, double tracked. No bass, no mix, nothing at all, just AD, Pod XT and Impulse.
I would like to know how it sounds in your monitors or whatever. In my Sennheiser headphones sounds gooooood.

sounds pretty podish, means fizzy! check out the nick crow sim, it's pretty good...

Nick Crows sims and my soundcard are in war. I hear the sims with lots of noises in the back and a weird reverb.

Pretty cool dude! The wimpy drums made my first impression less-than-favorable, but I think it's a pretty cool tone honestly; I do feel like the gating is a bit too unnaturally tight, whenever you mute it just feels choked (would be better for djenty stuff ); is that on the pod, or after? As for the tone, really not much to say until I hear it with better drums/bass, has a pretty cool 5150 vibe to me and seems pretty balanced!

Thanks Metaltastic, no after gate or FX were applied is just raw tracks, so the gating is from the pod itself.

Drums are not mixed, but are they so bad? I'm thinking on buying a good VST for drums but haven't decided yet.

It pretty good metal tone! It's very tight! But I don't like mid range of the POD when use with its own TS sim (although I'm POD user too @_@). It's a bit honky to my ears.

To me it sounds killer! With the right mastering it would sound 100% pro.
