Listening to that is guaranteed to wipe the smile off your face. God what misery thinking about losing your Dad.
Been listening to this album non stop for the past week, its is incredible. Heaviest album they've released since Songs of Darkness. This might end up being my album of the year.
Here's another band that I completely lost track of over the years. I still consider The Angel And The Dark River an all-time doom classic, but I just sort of failed to keep up with them after about 2001 or so, simply due to musical overload. I have to go back and check out some of their more recent stuff.

I don't know what on earth this reviewer is on about when he says it sounds similar to "Like Gods of the Sun". That's one of the albums in the MDB discography that Feel the Misery has the least similarities to. Bizarre.

BWBK has IMO never been a shining beacon of reviews. Lotta times, if these reviewers aren't really familiar with the band, they'll compare the one they're reviewing with one of the band's most popular titles.
Personally I like Metal Observer much better.
As for MDB in recent years, there's plenty to like, but the The Barghest O' Whitby mini album comes to mind first. Great stuff, and with dark days of fall nearly upon us, a great backdrop.

The album is alright. It's not their best however. I hope their next album isn't such a let down.
