Since this didn't get any action in general discussion thought I would re-post:

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of my first serious band, theR.A.C.E. (the Revolt Against Cultural Extinction), I decided to re-visit one of the songs from that album. Using the original vocal / keyboard tracks, I re-recorded and re-programmed the rest of the instruments and updated the mix.

Gear used on the track:
Vik Duality 7 string with Bareknuckle Aftermath / Sinner pickups
Axe-FX II for all guitar sounds
Trilian for Bass
Drumasonic for Drums
Various synths and plugins

Original song written by Graeme McInnis, Jerrod Maxwell-Lyster, Gil Epneris and Sacha Laskow.

To download the original album for pay what you want go to Bandcamp: http://therace.bandcamp.com/album/ther-a-c-e

Any questions feel free! Cheers.

Well that went well! I guess my mix is fucking perfect and beyond reproach.

Either that or I should have put 'CORE' in the title.

Sounds great under cans. Only thing i noticed are the clean vocals. They´re getting buried at some parts (bridge?). Nice drums. Have to check out that drumsonic thing!

+1 to the core thing. Can´t stand it anymore!

Thanks for checking it out! If you check out the album hope you dig it, I didn't write much on it but I think it's quirky and pretty original, still enjoy it and we worked our asses off on producing it for a year and a half way back when. Cheers!
