are you sure they calculated it right? i would call them and argue. this happens to my clients all the time. they get these huge bills and later learn that they didn't have to pay it. also, you can tell them you dont have the $$ and pay it WITH NO INTEREST in tiny installments for like, ever.

oh and you may also be able to apply to masshealth to help you pay for it! call to check. they may help pay part of it if you make under a certain income level and have a chronic problem.

Yeah, when I spent five days in the hospital a few years back, I think the bill came out to well over $10,000. I would still be paying that shit off if I wasn't insured.

some hospitals in NYC are like, $5,000 a day. i've noticed on the billing statements here at work. a total fucking hustle if you ask me. especially since every time i visit a client i am there for hours and not a nurse in sight, with bloody machines all around me going awry.

anyway, i misunderstood! i am glad it's paid for.
my freakin insurance is $50 a month now, starting this year. what a load of crapola. and my copays are like $15-20! bleh.
