I always think new Fords, Chevy's and Dodges are ugly when they come out. Then you get used to it and before you know you like em more.

But we already had the fugly headstock discussion in the G.A.S. thread.

I wanted something different and I got it.

Im more than happy with it :)

Fuck yeah dude, looks absolutely flawless - what types of woods? And how much did it set you back when all was said and done?

And I pretty much think all Fords, Chevys, and Dodges are ugly...forever, so not the best choice of examples, but I get what you're saying

It's a Mahogany Body, maple neck thru. Select Ebony Fretboard. 81 bridge, 85 neck. Schaller Locking Tuners and Straplocks.

Guitar and Custom Flight Case cost me 1840 Euros/$2800 USD.

The price fluctuated alot because of the US dolar/economy.

The original downpayment was worse as the 840 Euros I put down came out to $1400. Then the remaining 1000 Euro's was $1495. It got a little better.

The exchange rate was 1.49 to 1 at time of pay off. A few months back it was 1.26 and would have been cheaper. I believe it was 1.67 to 1 or so at downpayment.

Either way, to get the same thing from ESP or other manufacturers would be astronomical.

Wasn't so bad considering I had a year to gather the funds.

Their prices have been getting higher and higher.

Awesome you have one, I almost did it awhile back.

I'm thinking about getting a custom made by another guy but 2500 on a gigging guitar...

Congrats

It looks like they nailed what you wanted to get from your sketch! They did a bad ass job on it, the paint is sweet, the lines are great and I like the all ebony fretboard as well.

hey

it seems like my ran got a sister!!!!!
