Hello Dudes :)

I know, here are lots of people who are not exclusively interested in Metal. In the last years I became more and more open minded for genres beyond Metal and it makes lots of fun. I hope you guys give this piece of non metal a chance..gimme some feedback, if you find time :) I worked with a female artist called JULIA.

I think as a whole the mix is somewhat muted. The vocals could come up a bit more, and the orchestra settings never seem to jump out as much as they should on major rises and whatnot.

Having said that, it's not a bad mix by any stretch of the imagination. I rather enjoy some bell canto every once in a while, but I couldn't help but feel this song doesn't go anywhere. Maybe that's just this song and the rest of them are awesome, but only going on this it's just sitting there with potential. Props for moving outside of metal though :D

Actually dude, I really like this. Although, I do partially agree with spioraid, in that it has a lot of potential and is begging to be taken to a higher level at times. Don't ask me to explain this, because even I'm not sure. :) But don't get me wrong...I really like this, and just saved it on my computer. :) Mix wise, I find this one effect very interesting. I'm not even sure how to describe it...to me it sort of sounds like your taking the voice and morphing it to a vocoder (with a long delay/reverb). Is that basically what you did? Really nice touch!

Hello Dude :)

And thank you very much for the detailed feedback, I appreciate that a lot!

I really forgot to say, that this piece of music is an Intro of an epic longtrack. I think, that´s important to know. You mean, I should make the dynamic range a bit more effectiv ? Hmm okay..that´s absolutely not exhausted on this one.

Again..thanks a lot, man. I´m thinkin about it!

Thank you very much :) I´m glad you like it ! I used a virtual effect called "Ohmboyz" for some voice tracks. I love this delay effects on this plug in, I can recommand it without doubt.

Intro to an epic longtrack? I can deal. ;) Yes, I can think the dynamics can be a bit sweeter. It's not sounding over compressed so don't go overboard either!

I'll check out that Ohmboyz plug in, I've been dying for a decent vocal 'verb that goes along in this kind of music.

Yeah, that will be an epic and varied progressive rock project..it´s difficult to categorize. That was the intro to it, but this theme will be musically picked up in different ways on the record.

The Ohmboyz mainly has a great selection of real time delays and modulation effects. Perhaps you can use it well!

Cheers, dude :)

that's really nice. Must've been a PITA to record those organs

Thank you, man :) What is a PITA ? I don´t know this. The Organs are realized with the east west silver edition. The strings are partly real recorded..(violine & cello) and I mixed it together with the artificially elements. I´m happy, that I know some musicians, who can play string instruments.
