My solo project (6505 thoughts?)

Been trying my best to get a good 6505 tone for my solo project.

What do you guys think? There is no bass in there yet so keep that in mind when listening.

I love the music but the guitars sound a bit boxy. Dunno how to help you there though

Yep thats what I thought too. Boxy is definitely the word that was coming to mind when I was processing it.

Maybe its the room I have the cab in.

As much as I wish it weren't the case, I might have to go for the POD tone again on this one

The guitars sound like low passed at 5khz with TONS of EQ.


Try sucking out some 800-3k on the guitars. They're all high mids.

I hated that tone so I just deleted it. Here is and updated version with the POD. Much better I think.
