well i think i found my soloing/jamming style... its kinda like buckethead meets cock rock with prog metal thrown in the mix.

IN Fact I'm gonna jack this thread and do that....

My Style is like Prog Metal Meets Bee-Bop Jazz..... The embodiment of what I do is very much like Al Di Meola..... (damn, I should throw on one of his CD's)

My soloing style is kinda like Adrian Smith's (Iron Maiden, just in case), with some HEAVY chromatic influence.

i cannot shred to save my life. i'd say i sound most like Dan Swanö on Nightingale or Steven Wilson on Porcupine Tree

My style is sorta Folky.. I love slow, catchy solos in harmonic minor(use it ALOT), but I like to shred in Dorian too..

Gotta work on alot of things still, but I like the folky sound..
