Who does not have this? I cannot stop listening. Definitely one of the better new bands of this kind I've heard in a very long time.

Fans of Asmegin should love it, because it trumps Asmegin's album by miles.

Hails to spaffe for bringing it to my/our attention.

Got this through the post the other day from Deathgasm. Maybe I took one of their last copies? Seemed like a good place to order from.

Anyway, yeah, I've been really enjoying this album. I found Asmegin to be totally average, but I didn't give them much of a chance.

A friend of mine's solo project that is. Very good stuff, always were. Don't think the distribution kicks ass, but the album was promoted pretty good.

latest from this guy:

"Anyone still interested in Myrkgrav, hmm?

As far as I know, some pretty ugly shirts are in print right now and will be available right after the start of 2008. There will also be made patches, both featuring the Myrkgrav logo and the modified Ringerike escutcheon seen in my signature. I suppose I'll get some trouble for those, hehe.

But anyway, the real news is that I'm working with new songs for the next release. So far I have 5 songs ready, and I cay say that the material will both be in the same genre as on the Trollskau album, but the next release will also feature some more groovy and rocked tracks - and a lot more folk influences, for example use of the Norwegian national instrument; the Hardanger fiddle.

Also worth mentioning is it that I'll use a drummer this time around. His name should be known by many by now: Hellhammer. Just don't worry about any plastic sounding drums, because I'll still be in control of the recording (which will take place at my workplace, Toproom studio) and do the mixing myself.

Bass guitars will be handled by my bandmate in Quadrivium, Erlend, who also helped me turn some of my stories into actual lyrics for the Trollskau album.

Additional heavenly clean vocals will most likely once again be handled by Sindre Nedland, and the rest I'll take care of.

Just don't wait around, I'm the slowest composer in the whole friggin' universe."

Ohh the Viking Blood forum. Which clean vocals did Sindre do on the first album? I LOVE Myrkgrav, they're my second favorite band and I can't wait for this.

Those shirts are ugly by the way, very disappointing. But Lars is a very nice guy. He always takes the time to respond to my questions and comments on myspace, unlike most band members.
