New album from Nadir Eclipse, "Frozen In A Twilight Hell" available now!
NADIR ECLIPSE is the sole creation and aural abomination of Vorn, and all music is written, recorded, raped, mixed, and mastered at his own studio (AKA: "The Gears") located somewhere in the (sometimes) frigid Northeast region of the United States Of Vinnland. Nadir Eclipse is a unique melange of death, black, doom, and gothic metal, drawing from a myriad of influences across multiple genres.
Nadir Eclipse made a small but notable debut in late 2008 with the demo EP, titled "The Immaculate Abortion", which was a more straight-up death metal affair, described by some reviews as reminiscent of early Morbid Angel, and Celtic Frost. But it already hinted some at the direction the project was heading, which has been fully realized on the full-length album "Frozen In A Twilight Hell", debuting in the fall of 2010.
Nadir Eclipse is hard to pin down, genre wise, and varies from track to track, and often varies within the track. But it is recommended for fans of Celtic Frost, Triptykon, Morbid Angel, Type O Negative, Cathedral, Moonspell, Opeth, Hollenthon, Feilds Of the Nephilim, Paradise Lost, Gardens Of Gehenna, Bronx Casket Company, Frown, Rammstien, The Sisters Of Mercy, Hanging Garden, Black Sabbath, Dreadful Shadows, Amon Amarth, The 69 Eyes, Emperor, Ihsahn, Dissection, and so on. Basically, if you love dark, doomy, extreme metal....there's probably something here you'll like.
