Jazzy/Metal/Rock Fusion (any combo)--Alex Skolnick, Ohm,
Punk--Black Flag, MD.45, The Accused,
Hard Rock--Fireball ministry, Fight, Clutch, Pro-Pain, Helmet
Alternative--Coheed and Cambria, Mars Voltra
borderline Metalcore--Shadows Fall, Strapping Young Lad, At All Costs,

yeah...looking for stuff that is punk, but as far from Ramones as possible....and the Clash....dont want that stuff....more like...hardcore, punk, metal, combo stuff.......
