I was wondering if any of you guys have ever made it to one of these? If so, would it be better to go for all three days or just hit one good solid day?
I think I have convinced the old lady in going. I have never been & think it would be a blast to check out some of the gear & meet some of the endorsees. I have been on the NAMM site & can't seem to find anything on the cost to get in. I also don't know anyone that has been, so I can't really ask. I figured there is bound to be an old schooler that has been there & can give me some insight?
Thanks for Looking,

I went to the 2004 Winter NAMM this past January, and I will be there this coming January for Winter NAMM 2005.

I'd suggest you go all 3 days, or at minimum 2... the show is IMMENSE!! In the 2 full days I was there, I still never got to see everything! If you're into musical equipment, this is fucking DISNEYLAND!

If you're going, let me know and we can hook up at some point.

Cheers!

What's the cost of admission? There's no mention of that on the official site? I would love to hook up with you man.

Hmm.. .well, i went as a guest of MCS (the guys building my custom bass)... my pass was $25.00.

I don't think the show is open to the general public. I believe you have to know either an exhibitor or a buyer and they can get the passes. If you don't know anyone, I'll see if I can get a couple of extra passes from MCS. They'll cost you $25.00 each.

It would be a blast to hang out for sure!

Cheers!

Dude if you can do that, let me know. I would really appreciate it. I was wondering what the deal was with that.

Remind me closer to the show and I will do whatever I can. You'd need 2 right?

Cheers!
