Edit: fucked up the title, no s on the end of act.

Well, it would not be the first time. US made concentration camps for americans during the World War II. Mike Shinoda wrote a powerful rap about it.

Mike Adams is a fucking crank. Ignore his ignorance. It's for your own good.

Would you say Rand Paul is too?

Mccain talks about individual American citizens being detained without trial.

I couldn't see anything like that in the summary of the bill and it's not my country so I'm not gonna spend the hours it'll take reading the bill in full. I can't see how it's new though, the US government locks up people without trial all the time on suspician of involvement in terrorism, irrelevant of nationality.

If it is true though, surely it's irrelevant what nationality the people are? People are people and in the USA you shouldn't be incarcerated without trial according to the oh so sacred constitution (as i understand it), I'd like to think the American people aren't so baised towards themselves.......

This bill opposes the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 10th, 11th and 14th amendments. Its absolutely fucking ridiculous. This is the most unconstitutional, most unamerican, totalitarian bill to ever pass in a democracy, its already bad that we have a state controlled economy (Fascism), but to strip 90% of the amendments laid down by our founding fathers, on top of the fact that the like of McCain wrote a bill during the start of the war on terror that prohibits citizens from criticizing military actions and giving the police the power to detain anyone as a terrorist which passed and was tested in a protest in California regarding the war. So with this new bill, in reality, takes EVERY amendment our founding fathers wrote right out from under us.

I see a revolution happening real soon.

Yeah well, our civil liberties have been under assault by Democrats and Republicans alike since 9/11 and well before that. I'm rather interested to see if Obama will actually veto this bill, considering he hasn't shown anything but the fact that he is like the rest of "them". I wonder how many Obama supporters are going to abandon him if he doesn't veto this.

It's times like this when Ron Paul looks like the only sane politician out there. The Constitution has been torn to shreds by two consecutive administrations and yet our only options right now are Obama (Guantanamo still open, expanded war on terror, bombing of Lybia, continued corporate welfare, etc. etc.) and a bunch of insane Republicans (Gingrich, Cain, Romney, etc.). The only moderate in the race (Huntsman) is polling around 2% right now and Ron Paul doesn't stand a chance in a general election. The Supreme Court is bought and paid for by lobbyists (see Clarence Thomas, Kagan), our politicians only care about the next election cycle and their 15 minutes on the news, and we're stuck in between cultural theocracy (conservatives legislating morality based on their bizarro world interpretation of The Bible) and cultural relativity (liberals who think that the Muslim faith is peace loving and that we shouldn't judge their religious and cultural views because we just don't understand mannnnn).

But honestly, anyone who has studied even a little bit of history knows that none of this is anything new.
