azal, we didn't diss on the NJ festival for any other reason than a personal problem with the ethics and management of Jack Koshick.
NE Metal and Hardcore has proven to be the more efficiently and professionally run of all the festivals that I have been to as a performer and as a fan.
Because of that reason, if we had the chance to play the Worcester fest and also the performance capabilities I would jump at the chance. However, we are not really in any position to play at all, except if we did like an acoustic set or something but I also haven't heard anything about the promoters begging Dark Symphonies to get us on the bill so the chances are that it is not happening.
As a fan though, I am psyched to go.
Now I could diss on NJ for having those horrible creations known as jughandles but I am not really that low, even though they were one of the sole reasons for my driving frustration when we played there in July of 2001.
also nugent goes aol if you are going i'll be the one guy in the crowd in a MOTW t-shirt. I am kind of a self-promotion whore when it comes to metalfests.
when i was at the first worcester fest i was hanging out with overkill and i saw bobby blitz watching deicide with his son through the window to the stage.
dudes metalfes tis off the hizzle this year, trc, converge, unearth, a lif eonce lsot and pig destroyer are playing, not to mention caliban, the acasia strain, and beyond the sixth seal
wasn't Beyond the Sixth Seal that band that played with us at the lacuna coil/moonspell show? They were pretty dull I thought. But I think that about most stuff I guess
well i don't know about that. i wouldn't think we'd have much of a fanbase with the black metallers and the metalcore crowd or the nu-metal crowd which makes up most of that festival.
