Need a different set of ears please rate my mix

Just about finished with this one and I feel good about it but I have been REALLY wrong before.

I'm using my ipod headphones through a computer at my school, but it sounds great to me man! Real drums or no? I love the snare, but the overheads could use some work in my opinion. Not a big fan of the china.

Listening on headphones, but my only only suggestion is to notch up the bottom end a little. The bass is a metal guitar's best freind, and in this mix the bass doesn't seem to be supporting the guitars much. Also, raise up the kick levels.

It's a mix of slate kit with the first sturgis snare and truth black and gold china/zilbel. I agree about the overheads. I never can mix those damned slate overheads lol

Yeah it's very tinny sounding, mix sounds decent, what kicks are those they sound awesome during the chugging stuff... also the whole track sounds like you're listening through ipod headphones, needs a lot more lowend to balance out the phone effect you currently have.

At 1:29 there is an Autotune artifact. Happens all the time to me.

Overall it's sounds good, I would add a little more kick and bass guitar, and lower the OH's.

That's what I get for trying to mix with headphones.

The kick is 15 from slate pack. I don't have my mix with me but it's the usual Maxxbass with eq and junk.

Slate FG-X makes that breakdown sound a little more punchy tho.

Could you tell me what you're listening on so I can keep that in mind when I remaster this track? That'd help infinitely.
