Neil Young

One of my favorite artists. I have somewhere around 45 Neil Young albums, including almost all of his studio albums.

Best albums? The Ditch Trilogy. Time Fades Away, On The Beach, and Tonight's The Night.

Other favorite Neil albums of mine include Harvest, Everybody Knows This is Nowhere, American Stars N Bars, Rust Never Sleeps, Trans, Ragged Glory and the live CSNY Four Way Street. Also gotta show props for The Last Trip To Tulsa, probably my fave song by Neil.

Don't have any of his solo stuff, but this album---->

That's an awesome record. I don't listen to it all that often (mostly because it's so damn depressing) but the emotional and musical quality of that album is top-notch. Truly a heartbreaking work.

And mdmatt4ever, awesome avatar!

That's what I love about a lot of his work. He puts a lot of emotion into what he writes.

Has made a tremendous contribution to modern music. A huge amount of his work is timeless. After the Gold Rush is my favorite along with "Live at Massey Hall." which was released in 2007. This performance was before he laid down to tape the album "Harvest." Songs like Old Man, A Man needs a Maid, Heart of Gold were done that night. Neil was 24 yrs old. The disc is mastered so well it's like Neil Young is right in your living room.

On my computer I have Harvest, Live Rust, and Mirrorball. Fuckin love Neil Young. My favorite songs are probably Scenery, Old Man, Heart of Gold, & Needle and the Damage Done. Scenery is #1 though, love the guitar in it. I like on one of those live albums ppl are like climbing on shit and he's like "Get off those towers we dont need any extra weight on em!"

I like everything I've listened to from him. My favorite albums are Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere, After the Gold Rush, Harvest, Tonight's the Night, Zuma and Rust Never Sleeps.
