downloaded,
you gets lots of little covers of the bands....a bit of ns undertone about this
am I wrong?

I don't think so, but then again I can't speak for the politics of all the individual bands, though I don't really see anything at all NS about these little band pictures.

Sure there's one with an iron cross, but the date on it is 1813, and though the Von Thronstahl one looks might look a little militant, I don't really connect that to any NS iconography at all.

The Neofolk movement is very eurocentric so that probably confuses it even more.

My first observation:

the H.E.R.R. cover of Current 93's "They Return To Their Earth (For My Christ Thorn)" is pretty awful. They really shouldn't have tried to cover that, as they absolutely butchered the emotion of it.

Agreed, it's pretty boring, I haven't heard the original but I'd imagine Tibet would have put a bit more energy into the song, where this is just boring and spoken.

Hey Erik it's cool to see you're listening to Slaughter of the Soul which is easily ATG's best album.
