It is about Holocaust Remembrance day - Yom HaShoah. This was yesterday.
Last year I visited the holocaust museum near Jerusalem called Yad Vashem, I was very much touched by the message. I think you should visit this when you are in Israel.

oddly enough, this is at a time when the israeli defense minister said a few days ago that a nuclear Iran is the greatest threat to the jewish people since the nazis. Pretty scary possibilities in that statement.

I couldn't care less about what our minister of defense said about Iran.
But the fact that Irani's leadership officially told the press that Israel has no right to exist and must be exterminated and the fact that Iranis got nuclear capabilities(thanks to Mr KGB bastard Putin) is what worries me.

no i agree, it was President Ahmadinejad's comments that set this whole thing off in the first place. You can't remark that you want israeli wiped off the map and not expect to get shit for it. Honestly I think Iran is causing such an international scene right now to detract its citizens from the many domestic economic problems in their own country.

Station 82- drawing attention from failing economic policy is usual the reason for such idiotic ranting. This was also one of the reasons why Hitler struck against Poland- he needed a decoy to draw attention away from the failure of his government.

I've been to Poland twice. It a project that my school started before two years ago. Rebuilding Jewish cemetries, and we were in the camps as well.
