I am STOKED about this. I've heard five or six songs and it sounds awesome. This one and the last Almah are soooo much stronger than the past two Angra releases...

each time I hear Almah on a new album they get heavier and more power metally. I really liked their first album. It was more varied and melodic/atmospheric. Their newer stuff, while being very good at what it is, doesn't seem to have that something the first one had. I can definitely dig the new stuff. It just has a more straightforward feel.

They are heavier, more mature, more melodic AND more modern at the same time. The first album was basically Edu's side project. Now this is a band. They compose as a band. It's a totally different thing. Don't ever expect their sound to go back to those days, because it won't. If I may say, it's just so much better than the first album!!
